Google Analytics πŸ“Š in real life for Marineterrein Amsterdam

Marineterrein Amsterdam uses Husense to optimize traffic.

This summer the innovation district Marineterrein in Amsterdam conducted research on how the main entrance to the terrain functions and can be improved to make it safer and simpler for the future.
Counting the number of visitors, recognizing behavior (walking, running, cycling, etc) , providing heat-maps, showing walking lines, and cycling paths all 100% Privacy-proof!

Perfectly fitting into the mission of responsible sensing and citizen-centric design at the Marineterrein. Together with our Husense ambassador Tom van Arman, Tapp - Smart City Architecture, we installed our Husense Outdoor Sensor at the entrance of the terrain and awaited the outcome.
‍

β€œQuote Tom: The main entrance of the Marineterrein is one of its busiest areas, often becoming chaotic as hundreds of students, workers, and visitors pass through.

‍

Bureau Marineterrein planners Boj van den Berg and landscape designer Sebastiaan van Kints are studying how the small area functions and exploring improvements. Our research on mobility and street design will provide valuable insights for Defensie, property managers, the municipality while improving the experience for visiting public."Using radar and AI embedded on the Husense outdoor sensor we are able to detect, follow and categorize human behavior in every outdoor situation. Real-time, 24x7, and 365 days a year and in any weather condition. This is why we call it Google Analytics in real life (and without cookies)The images below show our setup, the real time dashboard reporting suite from Husense and animated walking and cycling path analysis.
